Installation & Usage

Download the Package
Choose the package for your operating system above and save it to your computer.

Install
Windows: Unzip the downloaded ZIP completely. Keep
_internal/ and proxy_tools_v0.2.0-beta.exe in the same folder. Run the .exe — do not move the exe out of the folder.
⚠️ Moving the .exe alone will cause it to fail — all files in the ZIP must stay together.
macOS: Open the .dmg and drag Proxy Tools into Applications. If macOS blocks the app (unsigned beta), right-click the app → Open, or go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → click "Open Anyway".

Enter Your Proxy
Paste proxy credentials in either format:
ip:port:user:pass
user:pass@ip:port
Supports HTTP and HTTPS proxies. SOCKS5 is experimental in this beta.

Run Tests & View Results
Select the checks you need — IP risk score, latency, or site reachability — click Start and view results inline. Copy individual results as needed.
🌐 First-time detection requires internet access to reach target sites and third-party scoring APIs. If a firewall prompt appears, allow network access.
Privacy — No Account, No Cloud
Proxy Tools requires no registration and sends no data to NightNodes servers. All configuration and proxy lists are stored locally on your device. Detection requests are sent only to the target URLs and third-party scoring services you choose to query — nothing else.
